The Screen and Media Gateway to Industry Schools program is a partnership between Essential Screen Skills and the Queensland Government – an initiative proudly supported and funded by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training. This program provides opportunities for students and teachers to participate in valuable experiences, broaden knowledge and attend industry-led events. It promotes understanding of the screen and media industry and provides key information about pathways to further education, training and employment in the sector. In partnership with key industry stakeholders, the project provides real world opportunities for students, teachers and schools to access:

  • panels and workshops
  • teaching resources and professional development
  • careers and pathway guides to future work
  • work placements and industry work experience

Gateway schools will be able to actively engage and connect with key industry stakeholders to create strong connections and pathways for their students.
